Calling NetBeans Developers: Have an answer?

A blogger has complained about NetBeans 6 Beta 1 being sluggish on a powerful machine in his blog post titled “Why is NetBeans still so slow?“
I hope that the NetBeans developers have a suggestion to woo him to NetBeans :)

Can’t say I agree with that post. I use an Intel Xeon single-proc, dual-core desktop with Ubuntu Linux 7.1 at work, with NetBeans 5.5.1 and 6.0Beta with Sun’s JDK 1.6.0._02. Thanks Adam!May be its a one-offish issue.I have a Acer Aspire 3684- 1.86 Ghz Celeron, 1GB RAM and I am perfectly happy with NetBeans 6.
